Rating Reflection-
When it comes to on a scale of 1 to 10 on my own reflection
I would rate
- Physical wellbeing as a 5
- Spiritual well-being as a 9
- Psychological well-being as an 8
I feel as though my strong point is in spiritual and I did
not rate it as a 10 because I feel as a human there is always room for
improvement. My least and one I need to work a bit more on is my physical
well-being and exercise a bit more. I am not over weight and in fact I’m quite
skinny however, I lack the exercise that is needed on a daily basis and I
believe it is because I am not organized with my schedule to add in exercises
like I should. Psychological needs more work because I am for everyone else
before myself and I know that is a good thing to help others but I need to
balance for myself as well.
Goals-
When it comes to goals to set up for physical wellbeing I
could jog around my town for a half an hour a day after dinner time as well as
adding some sit ups in the morning each day after eating breakfast.
Spiritual goals will be to continue to meditate daily as
well as pray but do it a bit more often such as once every other day while
listening to my pan flute.
Psychological wellbeing
goals I need to work on is how to love and honor myself as I am my own
worst critique and I do not give myself enough credit as I find if I do I would
be taking time away from helping someone else and I feel this is the one thing
I need to work on. My goal will be everyday to tell myself something nice to
myself and learn to cope with others that also express their kind words to me.
Some activities I could implement in my life to assist in
moving towards my goals are to write them down on the calendar as well as giving
myself positive reinforcements for doing each goal.
The Crime of the
Century-
While completing The Crime of the Century I enjoyed
listening and learning where the colors of chakra are located so I found this
exercise beneficial. I think it could have been even better if he discussed the
foods to eat within each region and color rather than naming things from a
house such as windows and doors.
Donna,
ReplyDeleteYour commitment to church and your spirituality is wonderful. I can use more work here and do not know why I don't. I, like you doubt myself a lot and someone told me to trust the lord more and I think this is were I fall short in myself. I believe you too if you allow the lord to work on your psychological piece you will begin to notice a change. I am sure being as spiritual as you are you understand what I am saying here.

Hi Donna,
ReplyDeleteI can relate to what you are saying about being your own worst critic. We are often the hardest on ourselves, and view ourselves far differently than others. I too struggle with organization. It's tough when you have children and multiple schedules to coordinate. I think writing out your goals and keeping a master calendar is a good start to help you achieve your goals! I try to plan my workouts for the week on Sunday...it is helpful for me to stick to my schedule when I plan ahead.
